Amy Keely Joins Greer Housing Board of Commissioners
GREER, SC --- Amy Keely was recently named to the Greer Housing Board of Commissioners. Keely's tenure begins 1/14/2025 and she will serve for a 5-year term.
Keely currently serves as the SCALE Director of the Riley Institute at Furman University. Keely brings to the board knowledge of non-profits through her role as Director of a Leadership Fellowship for afterschool and summer-learning educators across SC. Keely is originally from Greer. She holds a BA in Psychology from Western Carolina University. Keely is a member of the Leadership Greer Diversity Leaders Initiative.
"Amy Keely is a valuable addition to the Greer Housing Board of Commissioners. She brings knowledge of non-profits which will be an asset to the Board. We are excited to welcome Amy to the Greer Housing Board of Commissioners," stated Janice Fowler, Executive Director of Greer Housing.
Greer Housing, established in 1950, provides decent, affordable housing for eligible low-income families and the through 186 Public Housing units and manages 290 Section 8 Vouchers for area landlords. Greer Housing is governed by five Board of Commissioners.
